MMORPG had an opportunity to do a short Q&A session with BioWare lead designer Emmanuel Lusinchi.  He was pretty tight lipped about a lot of subjects, but he did mention a few items of interest:

• Like most MMO’s many features/enchancements are being planned.  Large guild ships, additional character customization, and more mini games were specifically mentioned.
• Epic quests/gear have been discussed but nothing “like that” that is being implemented in the near future.  However, it is still on the table and may require that you visit every planet in order to complete.
• The difficulty level of all endgame content (Eternity Vault) shown thus far has been significantly reduced.  They didn’t want to show a demo where everyone was dying all of the time.  Expect the real thing to be much, much harder to successfully complete.
