Save some credits and pass by the 100% speeder. You already have a vehicle. Is it really worth the investment to get something that goes 10% faster? Maybe if someone gives you one for free. But you would be wise to spend those credits on something else….Legacy gear comes to mind.

Besides from that little mistake, I couldnt agree more. I usually stick to the 100% speeder and if I seem to have some extra creds on me, I might buy the 110%.. So far I’ve only got it on 1 char, which holds the massive landspeeders pre-patch 1.2.

So…you want to save 25k credits based on the fact that it only increases your speed by 10%. Since you don’t mention bypassing the 110% speeder I’m going to assume that you want to still spend 250k on it. So you think it’s better to save 25k credits based on it being only 10% faster than the starting speeder, yet you’re willing to spend 250k which itself is only 10% faster?
If you’re doing this to save credits, then why in the world would you not spend 25k rather than 250k and still get the same increase in speed if that’s your only argument against it?
My argument is based on the assumption that you are going to buy the 110% speeder. My goal was to point out that you don’t have to buy a 100% speeder as soon as you hit level 40. If you are content with a 100% speeder, then buy all means, buy it and skip the 110% to save even more credits.
